Global Deejays

Global Deejays is a music project of the Austrian electro-house producers and DJs Konrad Schreyvogl and Florian Schreyvogl.

Band History

After several European hits under different pseudonyms (such as Ravers on Dope with a Dune - cover version of Hardcore Vibes 2001 ) succeeded to the two producers DJ Taylor & FlOW, along with the American DJ Mikkel Christensen, in 2004 with the single The sound of San Francisco international breakthrough. It is based on a sample of number - one hits San Francisco ( Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair ) by Scott McKenzie from 1967, essentially. The first published on vinyl single was released it under the pseudonym Global playboys, while the later published in other European countries plates bearing the name Global Deejays.

The song became a club hit, reaching on 22 November 2004, the head of the German dance chart, where it stayed for many weeks. In December 2004, the single debuted in the German single chart and peaked at number 3

The follow-up single What a Feeling, a cover of the theme song of the movie Flashdance, rose on 26 April 2005 in the Media Control single chart at # 16. The publication used on the promo single, like The Sound of San Francisco, a sample of the original in the chorus. The official single release, however, includes a self-produced by the Global Deejays Cover version with new eingesungener hook. 2005 they have been for many awards including the Echo ( Germany ) nominated. They won even the Russian MTV Award and the Eska Polish. The single Hardcore Vibes, which they published in late 2011, could enter the end of January 54th of the French chart and also came in the Belgian charts.
