Global Descriptor Table

The Global Descriptor Table is a table that is used by Intel protected mode to manage the memory, multitasking and various gates. In it have a maximum of 8192 descriptors of eight bytes of space. In the GDT segments can be entered, for example, address the memory in a particular area and protect.
