Gloucester County (New Brunswick)
Gloucester County is a county in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. The administrative center is the city of Bathurst. The County has 77 792 inhabitants and covers an area of 4675.2 km ².
The economy of the County is based primarily on fishing, mining and forestry. Tourism plays an increasingly more important.
The main geographic features are the Chaleur Bay, the St. Lawrence Gulf, the rivers Pokemouche ( Rivière Pokemouche ), Tracadie ( Grande Rivière Tracadie ) and Népisiguit and the islands Pokesudie, Ile de Lamèque and Miscou.
