Glyconic
The Glykoneus is a achtsilbiges classical meter, consisting of three trochaic feet, one of which is katalektisch and a dactylic. Named after the meter is otherwise unknown Greek poet Glykon ( Hephaestion 10.2 ).
Three forms are distinguished:
The second form is the most common. Something missing here the first syllable, so the shape is called Telesilleion, named after the poet Tele Silla.
