Glyptotheque
A sculpture gallery is a collection of ancient stone sculptures and cut stones.
The term Glyptothek was invented by the Bavarian King Ludwig I, Librarian and from the ancient Greek γλυπτός glyptós, carved, engraved ' ( here meaning " cut in stone ") and θήκη bar, storage place ' derived. The word education was carried out in analogy to " Art Gallery " (from Pinax: panel painting, paintings).
