History

Was founded the broadcasting company in 1950, the first radio broadcast also ran in that year. The first television broadcast was on 29 October 1961. Was in 1974 referred to as " Christian Network " because of its programs under a new management. GMA Network (formerly known as dzBB TV Channel 7, RBS TV Channel 7, GMA Radio - Television Arts and GMA Rainbow Satellite Network known) is usually referred to as the " Kapuso Network " in reference to the company logo, a rainbow -colored heart.

GMA Network has its headquarters in the building of the GMA Network Center in Quezon City, the station is located in Barangay Tandang Sora Avenue in Culiat, also in Quezon City.
