GNAT Modified General Public License

The GNAT Modified General Public License is one that is specially adapted to the needs of GNAT, modified version of the GNU General Public License. The modification reflects the fact that the Ada compiler is able to embed external Generic Types in a separate computer program. In the programming language Ada Generic types for the parameterization of program packages are used.

The compiler directive # pragma License ( Modified_GPL ); initializes the built-in license - checking function of the compiler.
