GNUstepWeb

GNUstepWeb is a development environment and an application server for web applications. The software combines data from various sources - often relational databases - together, they present users via the web and change them if necessary in response to user actions. It is characterized among other things by a strict separation of data storage, processing procedures and user interface.

GNUstepWeb based on GNUstep Base. It is compatible with the originally developed by NeXT WebObjects in version 4.5.x. Apple's WebObjects is written as of version 5 in Java, GNUstepWeb continue in Objective- C.
