Go West is a British pop music duo who had their most successful period 1985-1993.
Band History
Go West was founded in 1982 by Peter Cox ( born November 17, 1955 in Twickenham, London, England ) and Richard Drummie (* March 20, 1959 in Twickenham, London, England).
Her debut single We Close Our Eyes was released in 1985 and became a success in their homeland and in Europe. At the Brit Awards 1986, she was awarded Best Newcomer.
In 1990, Go West a top 10 hit in the United States with the single The King of Wishful Thinking from the movie Pretty Woman.
