Gobernador Dupuy Department, San Luis
The department Gobernador Dupuy is located south of San Luis Province in the western center of Argentina and is one of nine administrative units in the province.
It is bordered on the north by the departments of La Capital and General Pedernera, on the east by the province of Cordoba, in the east and south by the province of La Pampa and the west by the province of Mendoza.
The capital of the department Gobernador Dupuy is Buena Esperanza.
History
The department is named after the colonel Vicente Dupuy e Islas de Garay.
