Gobstopper

The Gobstopper, in the U.S. as Jawbreaker (of English. = Jaw jaw, breaking breaker to break of =, ie about jaw crusher ), is a very hard candy. Usually it is round with a diameter of one to three centimeters, depending on the duration of the manufacturing process, the diameter ranges up to eight centimeters.

The term Gobstopper is derived from " Gob ", which is British slang for mouth.

Gobstoppers usually consist of several layers, each layer when it dissolves in a different colored layer (sometimes also with other flavor) releases before they completely dissolved.

Production

The production of Gobstoppers requires between five and twenty days. Gobstoppers are fabricated out slowly on a core (such as pressed sugar or gum ) settling layers. Gobstoppers are produced in large, rotating, heated pool. The Gobstobber there are in Germany under the name " monster balls " to buy and usually have a chewing gum core.
