Goddard (crater)

Goddard is an impact crater on the far eastern edge of the lunar front side, on the northeastern edge of Mare Marginis, southwest of the crater Al -Biruni.

The crater was created in 1964 officially named by the IAU by the American rocket pioneer Robert Goddard.
