Godwin-Austen Glacier

The Godwin - Austen Glacier is a glacier in Pakistan's Gilgit -Baltistan. It rises between the horseshoe-shaped ridge which connects the K2 over the Skyang Kangri with the Broad Peak and then flows south towards the Place de la Concorde. There he joins the Oberern Baltoro Glacier to the Baltoro glacier. It has a length of about 20 km.

The glacier was named after Henry Haversham Godwin - Austen. The name suggested, the British explorer William Martin Conway.
