Gofer (programming language)

Gofer is a functional programming language that is based on Haskell.

Gofer has over Haskell some experimental extensions, especially in the area of ​​type classes. However, other important features missing Haskell, such as no modules are supported.

The language is not been in use. The latest version of the Gofer interpreter was released in 1994. However, there is a Haskell -98 -compatible successor named Hugs 98, which is, among other things supports the typical Gofer extensions in addition to the Haskell 98 standard and is still maintained.
