Gola Dhoro

Gola Dhoro is an archaeological site in India. The site is located next to the modern village Bagasra on the Gulf of Kutch. Gola Dhoro in which it is a place of Indus Valley Civilization was first discovered in 1996 by Indian archaeologists.

The mound is relatively small with less than two hectares. The place seems at first to have been a farming community and was later expanded and provided with a strong wall. Residential buildings were within the attachment, but seem to have found out. During the excavations, especially craft could be excavated. There was a workshop for bracelets that were made from snail shells and shells, there was found a workshop for beads of faience and stone, and there was probably copper processing locally, as relatively many copper devices were found. There were found in the excavations, some of the typical seal of the Indus Valley Civilization.

The place was inhabited even after the time of the Indus Valley Civilization for about 200 years until 1700 BC. At this stage, however, the trade, the craft and the use of the Scriptures stopped abruptly.
