Golchen

Golchen is a municipality in the northeast of the county Mecklenburg Lake District. It is located south-east of Demmin. Until 1 January 2004, the municipality was part of the Office Tollensetal and has since become part of the Office Treptower Tollensewinkel based in Old Treptow.

Geography and transport

Golchen is located about twelve kilometers north of the Old Treptow and about 22 km southeast of Demmin. The national road 35 (formerly B96 ) leads through the church, the Federal Highway 20 east past the municipal area. She can be reached via the connection Anklam ( about five kilometers from Golchen ). The municipality is located in Tollenseurstromtal. It owns the west located elongated woodland.
