The Goldap (Polish Gołdapa, Old Prussian galdape: "river in the hollow ") is a 89 km long river in north-eastern Poland, in the former territory of East Prussia. It rises to the height Seesker south of the city Gołdap, then flows through the Romincka Forest before it reaches the city named after her Gołdap. North of the village Budry (German Buddern ) opens the Goldap then in the Angrapa ( Angerapp ), which later turns into the Pregel. The upper course is now called Jarka, after having passed the Goldap lake the river is called officially Gołdapa.
