The Office Goldberg Mildenitz located in the northeast of the county Ludwigslust - Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). In this office, six communities have joined together to do their administrative business. The administrative headquarters is located in Goldberg.
On January 1, 2005, the Office Goldberg Mildenitz of the seven churches of the dissolved Mildenitz Office and the formerly independent city office Goldberg was formed. On 7 June 2009 the town Langenhagen after Techentin was 1 January 2012 Diestelow and Wendish goods were incorporated according to Goldberg.
The office area is located in a hilly moraine landscape north of Parchim on the eastern edge of the Nossentiner / Schwinzer Heath. It is traversed by the Mildenitz. In the south, bordering the office area to the Office Eldenburg Lübz, on the north by the Office Sternberg Lake District. The Goldberger lake, the lake and the Damerower Dobbertiner See the Sternberg Lake District are the largest of the numerous lakes in the office, a hill near New Poserin is 92 m above sea level. HN is the highest elevation.
In addition to agriculture and the increasingly dominant use of wind energy in particular, tourism is playing at the different lakes an increasing role.
By the Authority Goldberg Mildenitz leads the federal highway 192 ( Wismar - Neubrandenburg ). East of the office area, the Federal Highway runs 19
