Golden Sands Nature Park

The nature park Slatni Pjassazi - also called natural park gold beach - is a 13.2 square kilometers of forest area in the Bulgarian Oblast Varna, which is 9.2 kilometers long and 1.3 kilometers wide. The highest point is a hill of 268 meters.

Flora and Fauna

7 species of amphibians, 8 reptiles, 70 species of birds and over 20 species of mammals are to be found in the nature park. It is characterized by centuries-old trees and houses several protected animal and plant species, some of which are rare. Since February 3, 1943 This natural park is a state protected by a regulation of the Ministry of Agriculture and State Property and also designated as Natura 2000 protected area.
