Golden Temple Park

The bronze Hall of Daoist Taihegong Temple (Chinese太和 宫 金殿, Pinyin Taihe gong jindian, English bronze Hall of the Taihegong Taoist Temple ), also Tongwa Temple (铜 瓦 寺, Tongwa si ​​, bronze brick temple '), is on the mountain Mingfengshan (鸣凤 山), 7 km north-east of Kunming, Yunnan Province, China.

The Taoist temple was originally built in 1602 during the Ming Dynasty under the Provincial Governor Chen Yongbin (陈 用 宾).

The current "Golden Temple" ( jindian ) was built by Wu Sangui吴三桂in 1671 of the Qing Dynasty. It is 6.2 meters wide and 6.7 meters high and is the largest bronze hall in China dar. It is made of 200 tons of bronze.

The hall shines like gold in the sunlight, which helped the temple to its name. In addition to sculpted in marble staircases and balustrades both walls, pillars, roof tiles, altars, Buddha statues, wall decorations and the banner near the gate tower of bronze are made.

The temple stands since 1982 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 2-38 ).
