Golla (company)

Golla Oy is a Finnish company that specializes in bags for portable electronics. The products of Golla are designed for mobile devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players, cameras, video cameras, laptops and game consoles. One of the central aspects of Golla bags is their design. Golla employs around 60 people and markets its products in more than 100 countries. Golla Currently has offices in Finland, Germany, France, Japan, China and the United States. Headquarters and product design of the company are located in Helsinki, Finland.

History

Golla was founded in 1994 in the small rural town of collagen in Finland. Initially the company produced design objects such as CD rack. One of these early models of Golla was sold in the museum shop of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. After the turn of the millennium Golla began, protective bags to design for mobile phones. Golla own collection and the strong brand soon attracted Nokia as a partner and supplier Golla was the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer. After the end of this cooperation, the Golla specialized in bags for portable electronics. Today, Golla products are sold by many retailers around the world.
