Gompa

Gönpa (also: Gompa, Gompa, Tibetan: dgon pa, Skt: Vihara. ) Is a type of Buddhist temple in Tibet, Ladakh (India), Nepal, and Bhutan. Gönpas are usually part of a Buddhist monastery and usually consist of a central prayer hall with a Buddha statue and benches for prayer and adjacent residential areas.
