Gone Nutty

Scrat's new adventure is an American animated short film directed by Carlos Saldanha from the year 2002.

Action

The rat squirrel Scrat has created a huge supply of acorns in a hollow tree trunk. In the middle of the collection is a small space, which his last acorn found fills perfectly. Scrat the acorn fits from previous mishaps learning, carefully into the hole, but she jumps up again and again as soon as Scrat moves away from her. After a while, Scart reacts angrily and jumps on the bell-end, to press it into the final hole.

Production

Scrat's new adventure is one of the spinoffs of the film series Ice Age. The film was released in 2002 as bonus material the DVD release of Ice Age, but later came in 2003 as a supporting film in the cinemas. The sounds of Scrat spoke as in the other films Chris Wedge.

Scrat's new adventure was nominated in 2004 for an Oscar in the category " Best Animated Short Film ", but could not prevail against Harvie Krumpet itself.
