Gong Zhichao
Gong Zhichao (Chinese龚智超, Pinyin Gong Zhichao, * December 15, 1977 in anhua, Yiyang, Hunan Province ) is a native of the People's Republic of China badminton player.
1998 Zhichao won at the Asian Games in Bangkok, the silver medal in the individual competition of the women. She lost the final of the Japanese Kanako Yonekura. At the Summer Olympics in Sydney in 2000, she moved into the finals in the individual competition of the women. With the final victory over the Dane Camilla Martin Gong Zhichao was Olympic champion.
In her career she won the individual competition of the All England Open, Malaysian Open and Japan Open.
