Gonzalo Pineda

Gonzalo Pineda Reyes ( * October 19, 1982 in Mexico City) is a Mexican football player.

Career

Pineda emerged from the youth of the football club UNAM Pumas. For this club, he also made ​​his professional debut in the Mexican Primera División in a game against Monarcas Morelia (0-1) on 17 May 2003. Since the beginning of 2006, he is in the service of Chivas Guadalajara. He was already three times Mexican soccer champion: twice with Pumas and once with Guadalajara. He also belonged to the squad of the Mexican national football team at the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany. Pineda occurred in all four World Cup matches, the Mexicans used, although he only played the first game against Iran in full length.
