Good Clinical Laboratory Practice

Good Clinical Laboratory Practice ( GCLP ) is a GxP guidelines for laboratory samples from clinical studies.

Since GCP no requirements for testing laboratories and GLP was developed for pre-clinical trials and therefore does not address the special treatment of human laboratory samples from clinical studies was 2003 by the British Association of Research Quality Assurance ( BARQA ) proposed a Directive which close this gap should. Later, the WHO and the British health authorities MHRA brought out their own versions of a GCLP policy.
