Good Riddance
Good Riddance is a Founded in 1986, American Melodic hardcore band from Santa Cruz ( California). She herself describes her music style as permeated by pop-punk hardcore.
History
Their first release in 1990 was Gidget, a 7 " on a small independent label. 's Debut album For God And Country was released in 1995 on Fat Wreck Chords, where they still released seven more albums. Characteristic of the group are in particular the often politically meaty texts related deal with topics such as capitalism and exploitation. Similarly, among others, Rise Against the band members for the animal rights organization PETA involved.
Singer Russ Rankin is since 2003 also in the band Only Crime active, one of whose members Bill Stevenson of Descendents the. Stevenson was involved as a producer on several albums by Good Riddance.
