GoPubMed

GoPubMed is a knowledge- based search engine for biomedical texts. The Gene Ontology is used as a " table of contents " to organize the millions of articles in the MEDLINE database. The search engine allows you to quickly find relevant results.

The technology used in GoPubMed is generic and can in principle for arbitrary text and arbitrary knowledge bases ( ontologies) be used. It was developed by a working group led by Michael Schroeder at the Technical University of Dresden and Trans Insight, a spin-off of the Technical University.

GoPubMed has won the " red dot: best of the best " award 2009 in the category " product design - graphical user interfaces and interactive tool" won.
