Goran Nava

Goran Nava (Serbian Горан Нава, born April 15, 1981 in Bologna, Italy) is a Serbian athlete.

Nava, who competes for the Radford Highlanders took part in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in 1500 -meter run, but could not qualify for the final itself. However, his time of 3:42,92 min was enough to create a new Serbian record set up. At the European Indoor Championships 2009 in Turin Nava reached the eighth place with a time of 3:46,65 min. In the same year he missed the World Championships in Berlin the final and finished at the end of the tenth. That same year, Nava also launched at the Universiade in Belgrade. He won silver and bronze over 800 meters in 1500. A year later at the World Indoor Championships in Doha in 2010, he retired also from the semi-final and finished at the end of sixth place. In Barcelona he reached the twelfth place at the European Championships 2010. At the European Indoor Championships in 2011, he was seventh.
