Goran Pandev

Goran Pandev ( born July 27, 1983 in Strumica ) is a Macedonian football player who is under contract with Napoli.

Career

In the club

Pandev began his career in his homeland with FK Belasica. For the 2001/02 season, the striker moved to Italy's top club Inter Milan. However, he never came there to use, so he was loaned out after just one season to Spezia Calcio in Serie C1. For specialists it was used regularly and at the end of the season once again loaned to Ancona Calcio in the Serie A. He was at once to the root cadres. Since Ancona but relegation at the end of the season, Pandev moved on to league rivals Lazio Rome, where he spent four years regulars and became one of the most successful strikers of the club history.

In the summer of 2009, there was a dispute between Pandev and Lazio president Claudio Lotito -: Pandev still had a contract until the summer of 2010, when the Macedonians publicly announced that he wanted to leave the club. After also further contract negotiations between Pandev and Lazio had failed, the striker was suspended by his club and denied to the termination of his contract, which he obtained off the Italian League Commission, no longer a game for the Romans.

On 4 January 2010 he signed a contract until June 2014 with Inter Milan. His Serie A debut for the Nerazzuri he celebrated on 6 January 2010 at 0-1 in the away game against Chievo Verona. Already in his third competitive match against AS Bari Pandev scored his first goal. Due to disagreements with Pandev coach Srečko Katanec resigned on 8 April 2009.
