Gordon Daniel

Daniel Gordon (born 20 century; † August 2009 in Cornwall, England ) was a British engineer, who in 1967 won the Oscar for best sound effects.

Life

Daniel began his career as a sound engineer in the film industry in 1959 with the film The shameless (Serious Charge) and worked until 1988 in the production of nearly fifty films.

At the Academy Awards in 1967 he won the Oscar for best sound effects in the film Grand Prix (1966 ) by John Frankenheimer starring James Garner, Eva Marie Saint and Yves Montand in the lead roles.
