Gorilla Zoe
Gorilla Zoe [ zəʊ ] ( born 1979 or 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia, real name Alonzo Mathis ) is an American rapper.
Alonzo Mathis, such as Gorilla Zoe rightly said, went with 16 of the school and gave it a try in Kentucky with odd jobs before he got a permanent position in the plate shop The radio shop in Atlanta. From his savings he bought equipment for a recording studio and produced his first CD.
With the CD and his studio, he made the contacts that helped him in 2007 to a record deal. Immediately, he drew attention to himself when he takes on his album Hustlenomics participated in Yung Joc. Both songs in which he is involved, were released as a single and made it into the R & B charts, Coffee Shop also came in the official charts.
Shortly thereafter, the debut single by Gorilla Zoe, Hood Nigga, which was an immediate success already appeared. Also published in autumn 2007 debut album Welcom to the Zoo led to the same neat and came in at number 3 U.S. Rapcharts.
Not even half a year later he already pushed by his second album, which brought it into the Rapcharts up to the top and pushed forward into the top 10 of the official sales charts.
In addition, Gorilla Zoe is a member of the four-member Gangsta rap group Boyz n da Hood, where he was accepted as a replacement for Young Jeezy 2007.
