Gorillas in the Mist

Gorillas in the Mist ( Original title: Gorillas in the Mist ) is an American feature film from 1988, based on the true story of zoologist and ethologist Dian Fossey and her studies on the behavior of gorillas.

The screenplay by Anna Hamilton Phelan was because of an article by Harold TP Hayes and Fossey's autobiography, Gorillas in the Mist. It was directed by Michael Apted and the main role was played by Sigourney Weaver, who won the Golden Globe for her performance and received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.

Action

In 1967, the American scientist Dian Fossey comes to East Africa in the Virunga Massif, in order to study the lives of the endangered mountain gorillas. Fossey makes it his mission to protect the lives of endangered species.
