Goseki Kojima

Goseki Kojima (Japanese小岛 刚 夕, Kojima Goseki; born November 3, 1928 in Yokkaichi, † 5 January 2000 ) was a manga artist, who primarily through the Manga Okami ( Lone Wolf & Cub ), which was created in collaboration with Kazuo Koike was known.

From 1950 he worked in Tokyo as an illustrator. His first manga he drew in 1967 for a magazine. Then he created several works for Garo and made in the area of ​​Gekiga a name. In 1970 he began working with Kazuo Koike to Kozure Okami. With this work he achieved great fame and recognition and this was also the beginning of a very successful collaboration with Kazuo Koike.

In 2004, Kazuo Koike, together with Goseki Kojima with the prestigious Hall of Fame Eisner Award of the Jury.
