Gottfried Heinrich Gloger

Gottfried Heinrich Gloger (* 1710 in Hannover, † April 1779 in Verdal ) was a German organ builder.

Life

He was born as the third son of the organ builder Johann Heinrich Gloger. His two older brothers Johann Wilhelm Gloger (1702 - 1760) and Dietrich Christoph Gloger ( between 1704 and 1708-1773 ) learned the organ builder crafts. After training with his father, he worked with the father Schnitgerschülern Lambert Daniel Kastens and Christian. In 1738 he moved to Norway and became first organist in Risr. In 1746 he received the royal privilege as an organ builder in Norway. In his time he was considered the largest Norwegian organ builder. Gloger was married four times (1745-1763 with Pernille Nielsdatter Klastrup, 1770-1772 by Christina Lund, 1773 Lucia Rasbech and 1774 to his death with ester Abel Parelius ). His first three women were each passed away.
