The Göttingen miscellanea. Contributions to the Egyptological discussion are published in a magazine dreimonatlichem distance since 1972. The editorial team is based at the Department of Egyptology and Coptic Studies at the Georg- August-Universität Göttingen. Current Issuer is Heike Sternberg -el Hotabi.

The journal publishes short contributions in the fields of Egyptology and Coptic Studies, and related fields. It serves the rapid publication of new results and sees himself as a kind of forum specialized in internal discussion. To make the publications cost, offset only capable manuscripts are accepted.
