Gottlieb Taschler

Gottlieb Taschler ( born August 21, 1962 in Antholz ) is a former Italian biathlete. He took part in three Winter Olympics and nine World Biathlon Championships.

Gottlieb Taschler launched for the sports club Antholz and belonged in the 1980s and at the beginning of the 1990s, to the best biathletes of Italy. In 1983, he took in his hometown Antholz first time at the World Championships in part, in which he and the Single Page tenth in the relay was 18th. In 1984, he took in Sarajevo for the first time participate in the Olympics. In the sprint race, he finished 19th place and was with Adriano Danioli, Johann Andreas Zingerle Passler and fifth in the relay race. This was followed in the following year, the World Championships 1985 in Ruhpolding, where Taschler was fifth in singles and finished in eighth place in the relay.
