Governor Light

Governor Light is a village in the Mahaica - Berbice region of Guyana. It is situated on a coastal plain, a few feet above sea level. The village is located about ten miles downstream of the Mahaicony River. The village is named after Henry Light, the third Governor of British Guiana.
