Gowers' sign

The Gower's sign ( Gower's maneuver ) refers to the typical way in which patients raise with a trunk muscle weakness from the prone position in the state. Here, climb the victims with the help of her arms high on your own body. The underlying muscle weakness is typically a symptom of muscular dystrophy. Named is the symptom after the British neurologist William Richard Gowers.
