Goxua

Goxua [ go'ʃua ] is a dessert from the Basque Country. It is a specialty of the city of Vitoria -Gasteiz.

Goxua consists of a custard cream, cake and cream, which are superposed in layers, and coated with caramel. The dessert is often served in a small clay bowl.

The word Goxua derives from the Basque word goxo [' goʃo ] ( German " sweet ").
