Goya: Best Actor ( Mejor interpretación masculina protagonista )

Winners and nominees for Best leading actor ( Mejor interpretación masculina protagonista, formerly Mejor actor principal) since the first award of the Spanish National Film Awards on March 16, 1987 at Cine Lope de Vega in Madrid. The award recognizes the best actors of local film productions (including Spanish co-production ) of each last year.

As the first non- Spanish-speaking actor in 2007, the U.S. actor Viggo Mortensen could for his starring role in Agustín Díaz Yanes ' Alatriste movie classified into the Nominated lists. In the same year was awarded the first time a German actor Daniel Brühl, a nomination for the title role of Salvador Puig Antich in Manuel Huergas Spanish-language biopic Salvador.

• Goya
