Gozo Football League First Division

The highest division in football in Gozo is known as the ONVOL First Division. The League was founded in 1937 as a Gozitan First Division, and since then has been with few interruptions always Championships were held. Below the ONVOL First Division, there is the sprite Second Division

In the First Division ONVOL 3 rounds will be played, so that each team plays each other team three times. At the end of the season the last club descends into the sprite Second Division and the winner of the second division rises. Between the second-bottom of the first and the runner-up of the second division a qualification game takes place.

Main venue for the Games of the ONVOL First Division is the Gozo Stadium.
