GP Herning

The Grand Prix Herning is a Danish road race.

The race was held in 1992 for the first time under the name Grand Prix Midtbank. As of 2003, it went under the name Grand Prix SATS, from 2005 Grand Prix Herning and 2007-2011 as GLS Express Grand Prix. The venue is the area around Herning. Since 2005, the one-day races belonged to the UCI Europe Tour and was classified in category 1.1. Since 2013 it belongs to the category 1.2. Record winner is the Danish Tour de France winner Bjarne Riis, who could win the race three times for themselves.
