GP Wolber

The Grand Prix Wolber was a French bicycle race, which took place in the 1920s. The race was considered " unofficial world championship ", to which the three podium winners of the most important French, Italian, Swiss and Belgian races were loaded. With the introduction of the professional world road championship in 1927, the race lost its importance. After 1931, the race exclusively for young French young rider was aligned and in 1950 played for the last time.

Named after the GP was the bicycle producers Wolber, which was bought in 1972 by Michelin.
