GPUGRID.net

GPUGRID is a project of the University Pompeu Fabra, to simulate using the technique of distributed computing ion transport.

Technology

The project is now using the computational capacity of the manufacturer of the Nvidia GPUs. There are applications for Windows and 64 -bit Linux. Originally, the project also introduced the ability to perform calculations on the PlayStation 3 under the name PS3GRID. This project was discontinued after Sony stopped the ability to install Linux on the PlayStation 3.
