Grabovica (Kladovo)

Grabovica (Cyrillic: Грабовица ) is a village in the Opština Kladovo and in Bor district in the east of Serbia. The village name is derived from the Serbian word for hornbeam ( serb. grave ).

The village has a primary school, a Serbian Orthodox church and a monument to the fallen partisans in World War II.

Geography

Grabovica is located on the right bank of the Danube. The village is located about 19 km southwest of the capital town Kladovo away. It is 6 km distance to the neighboring village Velesnica.
