Grace Lee Whitney
Grace Lee Whitney ( born April 1, 1930 as Mary Ann Chase in Ann Arbor / Michigan ) is an American actress. It is also known under the name of Whitney Grace, Grace Elaine Whitney Lee Whitney and Ruth Whitney.
In the beginning of her career, Whitney frequently played in films by Billy Wilder. There followed a long career primarily with small roles in films and television series, the most famous of which is probably Janice Rand in the first season of Star Trek and in four Star Trek movies. The actress is married to Jack Dale and has a son, Scott Whitney, who starred in an episode of the TV series Star Trek.
