As with Cybill and Roseanne the conflicts behind the scenes were well known. Butler's "battle" to creative control was classified in the press as "difficult " behavior. Cast changes, feuds behind the scenes and Butler's personal problems led in February 1998 ultimately to cease production. In the U.S., the last episode was aired on 17 February 1998, in Germany.
