Grace Zabriskie

Grace Zabriskie ( born May 17, 1941 in New Orleans) is an American actress.

Zabriskies father founded Lafitte 's Blacksmith Shop and Lafitte 's in Exile, two cafes on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. After her family Zabriskies information of celebrities such as Tennessee Williams, Gore Vidal and Truman Capote was visited when she was still a child.

Her film debut was Zabriskie 1979 in a supporting role in Martin Ritt's Norma Rae movie. They often worked with directors such as David Lynch ( Twin Peaks, 1990; Wild at Heart, 1991; Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, 1992, Inland Empire, 2006) and Gus Van Sant ( Drugstore Cowboy, 1989, My Own Private Idaho, 1991 Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, 1993) together. Has been widely praised her performance in Philip Ridley's The Passion of Darkly Noon (1995).
