Gradara

Gradara ( in the local dialect: Gradèra ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4809 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region. The municipality is situated approximately 11 kilometers west-north- west of Pesaro and about 26 kilometers northeast of Urbino, bordering the province of Rimini. A little more than three kilometers to the northeast lies the Adriatic coast.

History

The castle was held by the Malatesta family long.
